Client Requirements
- Modern Web Browser (Safari 5+, Firefox 4+, Internet Explorer 8+, and Google Chrome 14+)
Server Requirements
- Any Operating System Supporting Java 6+ (e.g. Ubuntu Linux, Microsoft Windows Server, MacOSX Server)
- Recommending the GlassFish v.3.1.2 Application Server
- Recommending the MySQL v5.5 Database Server
- Any LDAP-Compatible server (e.g. Microsoft Active Directory / OpenLDAP / OpenDS)
Hardware Requirements
Hardware requirements for the server is dependent on the number of concurrent users and the plug-ins set-up in the Converge installation. However, below are the requirements to support an organisation of approx. 100 - 200 users.
- 8GB of memory (where 6GB is dedicated to the Glassfish application server)
- Quad-core CPU 2GHz
Prior to using Converge in production you should calculate your data storage requirements. For data and media intensive use you may want to use a network-attached storage array.
